Our Center
The Watershed Center is located on a 73-acre farm adjacent to hundreds of acres of state forest, two-hours north of New York City in Millerton, New York. With 19th century farmhouses, post-and-beam barns, a 30-foot yurt, 2-acre lake, hiking trails, waterfalls and a beautiful organic farm, our center provides a bucolic setting for visionary thinking. Central to our mission is making sure that our guests feel deeply nourished. Our farm fresh meals and homey accommodations that allow our participants to relax and deepen into their learning experience. We offer participants a wide range of services, from morning breath work or yoga and led hikes to campfires and multi-media intergalactic dance parties.
Our History
The Watershed Center was established as a 501(c)3 in 2007 to provide people with the space and tools they need to develop wise and innovative solutions. Since 2007, Watershed has immersed hundreds of participants in programs that offer them with the experience, knowledge and practices necessary to build more meaningful lives and vibrant futures. In 2012, we purchased a permanent home for our center on a farm in Millerton, New York. After a protracted and colorful zoning and renovation process, we began hosting retreats and programs at our new center in the summer of 2014. Since 2014 Watershed has provided groups with the nourishment, care, and access to nature they need to be able to dive deeply into their own work and to emerge with greater hope, connection and vision.
